O Lord God, you teach us that without love, our actions gain nothing. Pour into our hearts your most excellent gift of love, that, made alive by your Spirit, we may know goodness and peace, through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. This week we begin our One-year journey in the country of Oman. What a beautiful country that centers around the Muslim Community. The Oman's share their gift of love to all.

Pour into our hearts your most excellent gift of love, that, made alive by your Spirit, we may know goodness and peace, through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Our love and willingness to acceptance different cutlets are shared by many religions. I was blinded by the respect others hold for their own religion and respect we

26 Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me. -- 36 Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light.” John 12: 26 &36 Lord Jesus, you have called us to follow you. Grant that our love may not grow cold in your service, and that we may not fail or deny you in the time of trial, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. What do you believe is involved to follow Christ?
@ELCA: If your memory was robbed of all knowledge of Jesus except one event or quote, what would it be?
ELCA retweeted Bishop Hanson Today we go mountain climbing. Wow, look who showed up - Moses, Elijah and Jesus! How are we showing up? As a listening to Jesus people!
In the hymn "Here I Am Lord", the words portray GOD asking "Who shall I send"? The reply is "Here I am Lord... Is it I, Lord"? There was a time that I wondered who has The Lord sent to help those in need... Does the Lord lead us to help others?
The light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon us. Can you share your story of glory with us?
Does this effect us? Our kids have discovered a new drug. http://gawker.com/5972729/us-navy-releases-bizarre-psa-letting-you-know-bath-salts-will-lead-to-nothing-but-violence-demons-and-dubstep
Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:10-14) Merry Christmas
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23)
The time is near for you Lord Jesus! Come and visit your people. We await for your coming. Glory to our Lord Jesus! Hallelujah! Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer (Romans 12:12).
Prepare, for our Lord's son is coming to give all the people of the world knowledge of his salvation. Stir up your hearts by accepting the things we cannot change but changing the things we can. How can we change and prepare, for our Lord's son is coming?
Alleluia. Here I am, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word. Alleluia. (Luke 1:38) What can we do to "Stir up your power" and receive the joy of serving?
As we wrap-up this week supporting "People Offering Resources Together" (PORT) let us give thanksgiving for all people "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love" 1 Corinthians - 13: 12 thru13.

The Gospel reading for October 21 is Mark 10.35-45. James and John tell Jesus that they want him to do for them whatever they want, and what they want is that, in Jesus' glory, one to sit at his right hand and one at his left. This text along with the prior ones make it clear that James and John are trying to secure their places in this world and the next. We all do things for security, either for relationship security, financial security, emotional security, and for other ways to feel certain comfort. What are some of the things that you do to gain that security? Has it helped you feel safe?
